Lee Labrada Bodybuilder Labrada Nutrition Supplements

Lee Labrada was born on the 8th of March 1960 in Havana, Cuba and went on to become one of the best professional bodybuilders in history. In his 15 years competing as a professional bodybuilder Lee achieved 22 professional bodybuilding titles which include the IFBB Mr. Universe.

Lee started training with weights for the first time when he arrived in Houston Texas where he grew up and still lives today. Lee attended the North-Western University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, which he got from the University of Houston.

There are only a few bodybuilders in the history of competitive bodybuilding that have been able to consistently place in the top four positions at the Mr. Olympia competition for seven consecutive years. The Mr.Olympia competition is known by bodybuilders all over the world as the "Super Bowl" of bodybuilding.

Lee has appeared on the front cover of more than 100 different bodybuilding magazines as well as fitness and sports magazines. Over his 15 years as a competitive bodybuilder Lee has been featured on many different TV shows including CNBC, FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and ESPN where he was interviewed as a fitness/nutrition expert.

Lee was equally successful in business as he was in bodybuilding because he was inspired to start a health and nutrition company, which he founded in 1995 and called it Labrada Nutrition. He then created award-winning products for sports nutrition supplements. Labrada Nutrition went on to become the fastest growing privately held company in the U.S.A achieving Inc. 500 status, which was done in only 6 years.

Lee was awarded the IFBB Pro-Bodybuilding Hall of Fame in 2004 for his contribution to the sport of bodybuilding. A year later in 2005 his book called The Lean Body Promise was first published by Harper Collins. It went on to become a Barnes & Noble.com best seller.
